So our quiet alcohol free night lasted until we noticed the menu for Lone Star had a kiwi fruit cocktail. After that it was all over... we had an amazing lone star meal and then headed back to Cactus Jacks before hitting up Lava Bar with Dan. After way too many vodkas, some shots, salsa lessons, a bit of Zumba, some chicken dancing and the regular kind of 'everyone behind the bar is laughing but its not my fault I have sealegs dancing' they closed Lava Bar (apparently an hour and a half late so we must have been pretty entretaining) we ended up drink Baileys in the thermal pool until 5.30. I woke up at 7 am (unfortunately so did Chrissy when i looked for the toothpaste... sorry Chrissy!!!!...) and thought I better make myself scarce coz I am very noisy so I headed out for Starbucks.... (was waiting for Dan to cook us breakfast but that hasn't happened yet!)... the lady remembered me when i went back two hours later for a triple shot! Anways there was no chance we would have been legally allowed to drive anywhere so we are in Rotorua for an extra night! (Think the people at Cactus Jacks must really like us, plying us with alcohol so we cannot leave!!!)
PS. here is a video of me going through the hole in the rock... please be impressed by amazing cinematography skills
**insert video later**
Hmm... so after ice cream we tried to book the quad biking but it was full so we drove to a hot spring river twenty minutes from Rotorua..... it took us over an hour to find it! When we got back i tried to pretend that we just had a long swim or that we took the scenic route (which we did,... kinda) anyways thehot spring was nice and warm but full of old beer cans and bottles.... gross!
Hmmm after that we just had a shower to get the smell of Rotorua out of my hair (got laughed at by the Cactus Jacks family coz i had the two days of cold showers and one day of too hot shower coz i am stupid and don't know how to use the shower... lucky i found the idiot friendly showers today!!!
We also had dinner at this beautiful Italian place... although we have noticed the New Zealand are pretty keen for compliments on thier cooking. Every single time we are eating the restaurant staff come ask if the food is okay... and its usually after we have just taken a massive bite.... not the greatest thing ever!!!
Tomorrow Dan is cooking us an amazing breakfast
